Bloomingdale’s

I have been wanting Desi’s High Key Fades for a while but don’t have the cash to do so. I just cant fathom spending $60+ on sunglasses that I know I will break or crush easily. Now, I know they’re probably a great quality, hence the price tag but I’m just not ready to commit to sunglasses that I’ve never seen or tried on in person.

I like trying on my sunglasses and making sure they’re a good size for my face. Buying sunglasses online is risky business to me, personally.
I made a Target run earlier today to buy a couple errands and since I’ve been looking for new sunglasses, I thought I would stop by. #NationalSunglassesDay I’ve been in the lookout for new sunglasses as most of my old ones are beat down. After browsing the accessories section for 5 minutes and trying on random pairs of sunglasses, one pair caught my attention.

They were these aviators that seemed to have a faded look to them. They had a brown metal finish with a black frame color. I put them on and thought they were coming home with me!

Once I tried them on I noticed they were slanted/broken from everyone else who had tried them on in the store. I looked to see if there were other pairs like that one and just my luck, that was the last pair. I also looked online to see if they were on the Target website and no luck!

The Dupe
After browsing online for some dupes, these are the best I came up with. They’re not exact dupes because they’re a gradient finish but they still look great! These are from SunglassWarehouse.com and cost less than $10. Definitely a steal!

I’ll be visiting another local Target in a couple of days to see if I can find the ones I saw today, if not I’ll be ordering these online. If you’re like me and don’t want to spend so much on sunglasses, then these are perfect.
